FP170 Intucollar is a fire stopping closer device comprising of a stainless steel shell with a reactive integrated intumescent lining.
FP170 Intucollar expands when exposed to fire, reinstating the fire performance of compartment walls and floors which have been breached by services.
FP170 can be used on flexible walls & rigid walls (75mm or wider) and rigid floors (150mm or wider), CLT walls (120mm or wider).
FP170 has been tested with combustible pipes (PVC, PE, PP, SanPVC etc.) insulated non-combustible pipes and network cable bundles
FP170 has also been tested on FB750 Intubatt.
FP170 has been tested oversized to pipe by up to 20mm ; the remaining internal annular space should be fully filled with FS709 HP Intumescent Sealant.
Typically testing is carried out using (U/U) configuration for maximum coverage to many types of combustible pipe material.
Typical areas of use include: health and leisure facilities, schools, universities, modular construction, commercial buildings, hospitals, retail and industrial units, train stations, nuclear power plants, etc...
Always read SDS, pre-application guidance and relevant application detail prior to application. Ensure the latest documents are downloaded prior to every project commencement.
Do not use around CPVC pipes; for this specific application, please use FS719 HP Blue for CPVC.
If used around Pegler X-Press Carbon Steel pipes, the pipe manufacturer should be consulted, and their recommendations followed.
Safety data sheet must be read and understood before use.
