The Project
With a staggering 81 floors and an approximate height of 270 metres, world renowned Landmark 81 is the tallest building in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam fire protected by Nullifire.
Working closely with main contractor Vingroup, Nullifire specified SC902 for the protection of a 6,000m2 mezzanine floor and roof steel structure to be applied on-site with exposed conditions.
This project came with a variety of specific requirements:
- EN 13381& BS 476 for loading structures.
- Both indoor and outdoor application
- Thickness range: 2000 microns-5000 microns for each HP/A
- Application both onsite and off-site
After working closely with the main contractor and client, the application of SC902 was deemed most suitable due to its fast-drying characteristics and high build application. SC902 also allowed for a single coat application and long-term exposure to weather conditions to ensure that construction could continue as planned.
