Firetherm’s time proven and trusted fire stopping solutions, which are used extensively across built environments, are now being delivered across the UK under the Nullifire brand.
Clients will receive the exact same systems, with the benefit of enhanced resources, including greater technical support from industry experts and improved service levels.
The rebrand comes as RPM International Inc, one of the global leaders in speciality construction products, introduced a new identity for its regional construction division in Europe, under the Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG) banner.
Its portfolio of leading construction product brands, including illbruck, Flowcrete, Tremco, Vandex and Dryvit, as well as Nullifire, were all placed under the TremcoConstruction Products Group in June.
The move brings high-performance building materials - including fire protection, as well as sealing, bonding, insulation, flooring, waterproofing and roofing solutions – all together under a single source for specifiers.
Firetherm’s Sales Director, Gary Pullinger, is heading up the new service offer under the Nullifire brand.
He said: “This is an exciting milestone for us as we unify under the Nullifire umbrella.
“Our clients, including architects and main contractors, can continue to benefit from our best in class products and trusted expertise.
Now we can add additional value too, by tapping into the wide-ranging investment being made as a whole by Tremco CPG Europe. Features of this include a more streamlined service, access to a single source solution from Tremco CPG’s portfolio of brands and greater environmental and sustainability incentives.
One of the key drivers is investment in a new 90,000 square foot distribution centre in Leicester. This will bring new improvements in stock availability and service, and enable us to focus on achieving logistical improvements, leading to reduced vehicle movements nationwide. We’ve also looked at making the pricing process more streamlined, to support clients when providing specifications.
And even during these challenging times, we have been recruiting additional technical, sales and specification personnel to support our core markets.”
Clients will start to see the changes over the coming months, with packaging, technical drawings and data sheets all carrying the Nullifire brand. Website developments will be taking place to offer enhanced functionality for users, while a digital and print campaign, #wevegotyourback is also being launched.
This sets out the achievements of both brands and their shared vision throughout the merger, centred around the number one principle of protecting people and buildings from fire.
Gary added: “Our clients will find that, under the rebrand, what was in place before remains in place.
“However, we are now in pole position to deliver next-generation service and support for our customers as they navigate complex challenges in the construction industry. For more than 40 years, Nullifire has been a market leader in intumescent and fire stopping solutions and stands is at the forefront of smart passive fire protection. We are specialists, with one focus that has not and will not change - to protect people and buildings from fire.
Passive fire protection is highly complex but crucially important, especially as buildings become more sophisticated with increasingly intricate interior and exterior structures. We understand the need to have confidence in the fire protection installed in modern buildings.
Our systems perform when they are called upon and are dedicated to making it simple for our customers, providing the optimum solution for every project. We have a unique team of technical experts with years of experience to support with the specification and installation of our products, and our testing methods are rigorous with facilities that are second to none.
In short, everything is focused on providing what our customers need at every stage of their project - smart protection.”
